About me
Hi, I am Jennifer Shaw the 6th grade Social Studies teacher here at Grand Saline Middle School. This is my first year teaching and coaching. I currently am coaching Junior High Girls Athletics and High School Cheerleading. I graduated High School from Paul H. Pewitt High in 2001 and graduated college at the University of North Texas in August of 2008. I recently joined the staff at GSISD because I was impressed with the kindness and willingness of the entire staff to help me in making my first year as a teacher special.
I enjoy working with kids and especially love to help them better themselves. I enjoy seeing the students grow and achieve their goals. I am hoping for a successful year at GSMS and I am looking forward to being a teacher/coach here for several years.
To the parents: If you ever have any questions or concerns about your child's grades, assignments, behavior, etc. please feel free to contact me through email. I will have assignments posted weekly on my website so that you can help keep track of your child's work.
